How do I dispute an unauthorised transaction on the TSB Platinum Mastercard?
Contact TSB first, then escalate to the relevant external dispute resolution scheme (typically the Banking Ombudsman Scheme or FSCL). The Commerce Commission enforces CCCFA fair-dealing obligations.
How current is the information on this page?
Every figure on this page is sourced from TSB's published Conditions of Use document. The T&C was ingested on 21 May 2026. We enforce a 36-month freshness cap; any fact older than that is excluded from rendering. Cross-check the issuer's current Conditions of Use before applying.
Is the TSB Platinum Mastercard "the best" credit card?
We don't rank credit cards on this site. Under FMA and CCCFA fair-dealing rules, "best for X" or "lowest rate guaranteed" claims require disclosed methodology that we don't publish. We list the facts; you compare what matters to your situation. If you need one-on-one advice, see a licensed Financial Advice Provider — we don't provide personalised advice.
Methodology & source-tier system
Every fact on this page carries a source-tier badge: Tier A = verbatim from the issuer's published Conditions of Use PDF; Tier B = issuer's live website; Tier C = our editorial registry (used when T&C ingest is pending); Tier D = third-party source.
We don't rank cards, don't publish "best for X" superlatives, and don't make approval claims. Approval decisions sit with the issuer under CCCFA and the Responsible Lending Code. For one-on-one advice, contact a licensed Financial Advice Provider.
